Begin with Pinnawala, continue into the tea country and mountain landscapes, experience Kandy's living Buddhist heritage, then travel towards Dambulla and the ancient rock country.
On Day 2, choose between an authentic Traditional Village Experience with lunch or a Minneriya wildlife safari, before finishing with your choice of Pidurangala or Sigiriya and returning towards Negombo.

The route is practical but can be adjusted slightly around weather, road conditions, site operating conditions and the group's pace while keeping the main agreed experiences intact.
Day 01
Negombo → Pinnawala → Tea Country → Ambuluwawa → Kandy
- Departure from Negombo — Begin the journey towards Pinnawala.
- Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage — Observe the elephants. Optional feeding and bathing activities are available when operating and require separate tickets.
- Tea Plantation & Tea Factory — Learn about Ceylon Tea and enjoy a tea tasting experience.
- Ambuluwawa Tower — Panoramic views across the surrounding mountains and countryside.
- Kandy — Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic — Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site within the Sacred City of Kandy.
- Optional Matale Hindu Temple — If time allows, depending on the day's timing and route.

Day 02
Dambulla → Village or Minneriya → Sigiriya / Pidurangala → Negombo
- Dambulla Golden Buddha Temple — Visit the impressive Golden Buddha. Cave temples are not included.
- Choose your experience — Traditional Village Experience with lunch, or Minneriya National Park safari.
- Final experience — Choose Pidurangala Rock or Sigiriya Lion Rock.
- Optional elephant experience — May be arranged if time and availability allow.
- Optional Hindu temple — May be added if time allows.
- Return to Negombo — Continue to the agreed drop-off location.
