Escape into Sri Lanka’s central highlands on a private two-day journey designed around waterfalls, mountain landscapes and the character of the hill country. Experience Ella’s famous viewpoints and bridge, travel by scenic mountain train, discover high-grown tea country and stay overnight in Ramboda.

Continue on the second day through Nuwara Eliya and mountain viewpoints before returning towards the west. The journey is private and can be shaped around your group.

Day 2 · HighlandsBreakfast · Ramboda Waterfall · Nuwara Eliya · Old English Post Office.

Your ChoiceRoyal Botanic Garden or Nelligala Temple, followed by Ambuluwawa Tower.

Pinnawala & ReturnVisit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, then transfer back to your hotel.

Come prepared for the mountains.

Temple clothingIf choosing Nelligala Temple, wear clothing covering the shoulders and knees. Carry a suitable cover-up if needed.

Comfortable shoesWaterfalls, viewpoints and bridge areas involve walking on uneven ground.

Weather mattersThe route and outdoor activities may be adjusted according to weather and local conditions.

LunchLunch is not included on either day. Restaurant stops are arranged during the journey.

Important: Early departure and train timing depend on your resort location and railway schedule. Secret Waterfalls and Spice Garden are optional and arranged only on request. Pinnawala may require an additional entrance fee paid locally if applicable. Shoes must be removed when entering temple areas.

Price condition: Rates are based on current fuel and operating costs in Sri Lanka. Significant changes may affect the final price; any revision will be confirmed before booking.
